Just nine kilometres away from Ajuy and twenty minutes from the magnificent beaches of Sotavento you’ll find the beautiful and peaceful village of Pájara, a true oasis in the midst of the arid landscape of the South of Fuerteventura.

Here is Casa Isaítas, an old style building with stone walls and wooden balconies and archways. Some of its rooms, set out around two patios and an outer terrace, are over two centuries old. The building has been restored whilst maintaining the most traditional flavour of popular architecture in the Canary Islands.

On one side of the first patio there are four guest rooms: double rooms with suite bathroom, satellite TV and telephone. Lodging includes home-made breakfast elaborated with ecological products and served in our private patio.

Around the other patio, apart from owner’s living quarters, the guests will find the rest of the services; a private dining room, a lounge with library, games and computer facilities; a traditional oven, an area for preparing barbeques and paellas.

The large stone room that was once used as a corn mill is nowadays the bar-restaurant for Casa Isaítas, where you can enjoy house-made cooking and tapas everyday, such as Goat meat, Roast kid grilled, Majorero cheese baked and frits, and a nice variety of ecological vegetables from local orchards. Aquí está CASA ISAITAS, una vieja construcción de muros de piedra vista, balcones y galerías de madera. Algunas de sus dependencias, dispuestas en torno a dos patios y una terraza exterior, tienen una antigüedad superior a los dos siglos. La restauración del edificio ha sabido rescatar el sabor más tradicional de la arquitectura popular canaria.

En un lateral del primer patio se encuentran las cuatro habitaciones de los huéspedes: dobles y dotadas de baño, teléfono, TV y radio por satélite digital. El alojamiento incluye el desayuno que se sirve al aire libre con productos de la tierra y elaborados en la Casa.

En torno al otro patio, aparte la vivienda de las propietarias, los huéspedes hallarán el resto de los servicios: un comedor privado; un salón con biblioteca, juegos e informática; un horno tradicional; una barbacoa y un paellero.

Además, la gran habitación de piedra que un día estuvo destinada a albergar un molino de gofio es hoy el bar-restaurante de Casa Isaítas, que ofrece cocina casera y tapas todos los días: Carne de cabra, Baifo al horno, Queso de cabra asado y frito, así como diversos platos de verduras elaborados con productos ecológicos de las huertas cercanas. Productos de calidad elaborados con mucho amor.

Dort befindet sich das Casa Isaítas, ein altes Anwesen aus unverputztem Naturstein, Balkonen und Galerien aus Holz. Einige der Nebenräume, die sich um zwei Innenhöfe und eine Außenterrasse gruppieren, sind mehr als zwei Jahrhunderte alt. Bei der Restaurierung des Gebäudes wurde es verstanden, den ursprünglichsten Stil der populären kanarischen Architektur zu retten.

In einem Seitenflügel des ersten Innenhofes befinden sich vier Zimmer für unsere Gäste: Doppelzimmer mit Bad, digitalem Satelliten TV und Telefon. Die Beherbergung beihaltet das Frühstück im Freien mit einheimischen Produkten, die im Haus verarbeitet werden.

Rund um den anderen Innenhof, getrennt vom Wohnbereich der Eigentümer, finden die Gäste die übrigen Service-Einrichtungen: einen privaten Essraum, Wohnzimmer mit Bibliothek, Spielen und einem computer mit Internetanschluss; einen traditionellen Ofen; Grill und Paellapfanne.

Außerdem: Der größte Raum des Hauses mit rustikalem Ambiente der einstmals dazu bestimmt war eine Gofiomühle zu beherbergen, ist heute die Bar des Casa Isaítas.
Diese offeriert täglich Hausmannskost und Tapas: z.B. Ziegenfleisch, Zicklein im Ofen, Ziegenkäse frittiert oder gebacken sowie verschiedene Gemüsegerichte aus nehegelegenen ökologisch bewirtschafteten Gärten - liebevoll verarbeitete Qualitätsprodukte.
